Taking a Survey

In order to receive payments from Feedbacked by sharing your opinion, you must complete product reviews. This guide outlines what you need to know to be successful.

Finding available surveys

Available surveys are shown on the Feedbacked feed and on the reviewer's logged-in dashboard. The public feed lets reviewers browse apps looking for feedback, while the dashboard includes a Discover Apps preview with a link to view all apps.

The name of the product or survey, shown as the main title on the card.

The product code is shown in a grouped format, such as FDB-001.

The response count shows how many responses have already been accepted out of the total number the survey is accepting.

Survey payout

The payout badge shows how much completing that specific survey will pay.

Already have a product code?

If you already have a product code for a review, go directly to review.staging-feedbacked.org and enter the code. Product codes use three letters followed by three numbers, shown with a dash in the form, such as FDB-001.

Answering the survey

A review form can include questions before and after the app link. When the app link appears, the form asks you to try out the app before continuing. Links may open a website, the Apple App Store, or Google Play, depending on what the survey creator provided.

You are not required to make any purchases within the app to complete a survey. Be cautious about downloading files from third-party sites or links.

Multiple choice

Choose one answer from the options shown.

Select all

Choose every option that applies.

Free response

Write a text answer. Some free-response questions may show a minimum character count, and the response box caps responses at 1,000 characters.

Slider

Move a slider between the lower and upper values shown on the question.

Rank

Put the available options in order. Drag or use the arrows to rank, with the top item ranked highest.

Text blocks

Some blocks are not questions. They may appear as headings, instructions, context, or promotions, and are there to give you information before you answer.

Verification

Feedbacked pays reviewers immediately after submission because each review is checked for relevance, accuracy, and usefulness before it is counted. Verification helps make sure developers receive actionable feedback from people who actually tried their product.

Every survey includes audit questions. These appear like regular questions, but they have a correct answer set by the developer. Audit questions are meant to confirm that you paid attention while using the product. If you genuinely try the product, you should be able to answer them naturally.

Feedbacked also verifies every free-response answer, even when the question is not marked as an audit. Free responses should be relevant, specific, and useful enough for the developer to act on. A free-response question can also be an audit; in that case, your answer should meet the response criteria set by the developer.

Audit questions are not designed to trick reviewers. They exist to filter out responses from people who did not actually try the product. Read more on audit questions.

Validation strikes

Each failed validation pass issues a strike for that survey. Four survey-specific strikes close that survey to any more submissions from your account. Failed validations and failed surveys also issue strikes to your account.

Validation-fail strikes weigh less than full survey strikes, but enough of either can result in a temporary account ban. A second ban after your first ban becomes permanent. The thresholds are intentionally high, and successful survey submissions offset strikes, so ordinary mistakes are not the concern; these safeguards are aimed at repeated attempts to cheat validation.

Payment eligibility

To receive payment for a survey, your response must pass Feedbacked's verification process. Verified responses are paid at the rate published on the platform at the time the survey was made available.

Reviewer rules

  • You must genuinely use the product and provide honest, thoughtful answers.
  • Responses that are fabricated, copied, or do not reflect genuine product use are flagged and not paid.
  • A person is only permitted to submit a survey once. Creating or using additional accounts to retake a survey is against Feedbacked's Terms of Service.
  • Feedbacked may withhold earnings and issue account bans for Terms of Service violations.
  • Using AI to answer survey questions puts your account at risk of an immediate permanent ban and forfeiture of unpaid earnings still in the account.
  • Reviewers are not told which questions are audit questions.
  • Clients receive survey responses, but not your name, email address, bank details, or other personally identifying information.

After submission

Survey responses, including text, ratings, and other submitted content, are owned by Feedbacked upon submission. Feedbacked may use, display, reproduce, or analyze responses for lawful purposes, including delivering results to clients and improving the platform.
